Sir Joseph Banks Scholarship 約瑟夫·班克斯爵士獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金項(xiàng)目啟動(dòng)

Harrow Beijing is pleased to announce the establishment of the Sir Joseph Banks Scholarship.

This academic scholarship will provide up to 100% fee remission for talented young men and women to complete a two year A level course at Harrow Beijing.

The scholarship is open to external candidates and is designed to help foster Leadership for a Better World.

The Sir Joseph Banks scholarship will be awarded on merit following a scholarship test and interview.

哈羅北京非常高興地宣布設(shè)立約瑟夫·班克斯爵士獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金。

這一學(xué)術(shù)獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金項(xiàng)目將為優(yōu)秀學(xué)生提供最高100％的學(xué)費(fèi)減免，以幫助他/她們在哈羅北京完成兩年制的A-level課程。

該獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金旨在為未來世界培養(yǎng)具有領(lǐng)導(dǎo)力的人才，僅對校外候選人開放，擇優(yōu)頒發(fā)。

成功的獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金獲得者需通過考試和面試。

Sir Joseph Banks, an old Harrovian, exemplified the spirit of Leadership for a Better World.

His documentation of the flora on his many journeys around the world led him to hold the position of President of the Royal Society for over 40 years.

Kew Gardens owes much of its fame to the work that he did advising King George III on its flora and design.

約瑟夫·班克斯爵士是哈羅公學(xué)的杰出校友，他充分體現(xiàn)了“未來世界領(lǐng)導(dǎo)者”的精神。

憑借其在環(huán)球旅行中對植物的潛心研究，班克斯爵士擔(dān)任皇家學(xué)會(huì)會(huì)長一職超過四十年。

他為喬治三世國王提供植物和設(shè)計(jì)方面的建議，使得英國皇家植物園邱園聞名于世。
