【申請季】A-level多高才能被牛津看上？

提到世界名校，

很多人腦袋里的第一個反應，

不是別的，

而是牛津劍橋！

顏值高、歷史久，

牛津成為很多人的終極人生夢想，

大家都知道，

很多申請牛津的童鞋學習的都是A-level，

所以究竟A-level要多高才能被牛津看上？

牛津本科的申請基本可以分成三個階段，

第一輪審核申請表，

第二輪筆試，

第三輪面試。

牛津錄取看的是學生的學術成績和個人潛力，

課外活動能說明你符合篩選標準的才算數。

牛津本科offer要求A-level介于

A*A*A-AAA之間。

除了滿足課程所有具體要求，

一般的A-level科目都可以被考慮，

但General Studies申請是不接受的。

如果用AS成績申請的話，

Conditional offer的發放只看最終成績不看UMS分數，

不要求單元成績，

但如果申請者在UCAS申請表中提供了AS模塊分數，

tutor也會在錄取中把這部分作為評估學生學術背景的參考。

牛津對改革的態度跟劍橋截然相反，

劍橋要求必須有AS，

而牛津官網明確表示：

從來沒有強制要求提供AS-level成績，

對于有AS成績和沒有AS成績的申請者會一視同仁，

tutor們錄取學生的原則，

會參考AS成績、預估的A2成績和已經獲得的GCSE成績，

另外還有個人PS、推薦信、written work、入學考試、面試。

較高的GCSE成績也能提高申請競爭力，

而且非常多成功申請者GCSE成績都達到A和A*(7,8 9)。

說完了A-level，

我們看看語言要求，

牛津本科要求雅思7.0，單項不低于7.0，

相比之下，

劍橋的雅思要求稍高一點點，

劍橋大學本科要求雅思7.5，一般單項不低于7.0，

不過兩者相差不大，

基本雅思能達到7.5就任何英國名校都能申請了。

申請不同專業可能需要考不同的考試，

一般需要提前注冊。

比方說Biomedical Science需要考BMAT，

Mathematics需要考MAT，

Physics需要考PAT，

Chemistry，Management等專業需要考TSA...

UCAS PS，AS成績，A2預估成績，Written work等等，

都是牛津決定是否給你面試機會的重要依據，

而獲得了面試機會后真正的強者之爭才開始。

坊間素來就有傳聞，

牛津劍橋錄取程序之復雜令人發指，

真的是“名校虐我千萬遍，我待名校如初戀”，

想申請的小伙伴們提前做好心里準備！
