美國“數(shù)學(xué)大聯(lián)盟杯賽”小學(xué)組和初中組決賽和夏令營由美國"數(shù)學(xué)大聯(lián)盟杯賽"和普林斯頓大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)系、 (Princeton University Mathematics Department)、 哥倫比亞大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)系 (Columbia University Mathematics Department)、 威廉姆斯學(xué)院 (Williams College) 聯(lián)合舉辦。 參加決賽和夏令營的學(xué)生包括來自美國、加拿大、中國等國家初賽、復(fù)賽成績優(yōu)異的3-9年級的學(xué)生。

美國“數(shù)學(xué)大聯(lián)盟杯賽” 小學(xué)組和初中組決賽由普林斯頓大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)系 (Princeton University Mathematics Department) 、 哥倫比亞大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)系 (Columbia University Mathematics Department) 、 威廉姆斯學(xué)院 (Williams College)聯(lián)合命題， 題目新穎，靈活、生動，富有趣味性和挑戰(zhàn)性，著力培養(yǎng)學(xué)生創(chuàng)新型思維、批判性思維、 及解決問題的能力 (fun and creative problems that promote critical thinking, creative thinking, and problem solving skills)， 而優(yōu)異的決賽成績是申請美國及世界一流高中和大學(xué)有效的“敲門磚”。

學(xué)生在夏令營期間聆聽來自普林斯頓大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)系 (Princeton University Mathematics Department) 、 哥倫比亞大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)系 (Columbia University Mathematics Department) 、 威廉姆斯學(xué)院 (Williams College)等美國著名大學(xué)和研究院教授的精彩授課。
