BBO學術(shù)活動最初是給英國高中生準備的，從2016年起，ASDAN中國（阿思丹學院）首次將該學術(shù)活動引入中國。優(yōu)勝者除了可以直接獲得英國生物奧賽金銀銅牌，還可以大大增加世界名校醫(yī)學、生物等理工科專業(yè)申請優(yōu)勢，獲獎?wù)哌€將有機會獲得國際頂級科學類活動邀請。
據(jù)官方消息，2020 年，共有 243 所國際高中和重點中學的代表參與了該活動。下一次學術(shù)活動時間：2022年4月9日（周六），13：00-14:30（90分鐘）報名截止時間：2022年3月30 日
