While we take learning seriously, sometimes a grave topic can be light-hearted.

在我們認(rèn)真對待學(xué)習(xí)時，有時候有關(guān)墳?zāi)沟脑掝}也會變得輕松有趣。

Getting outside the typical classroom setting is common at SAS. Our AP Environmental Science students took the opportunity to gather data for survivorship curves by venturing into a fictious campus cemetery - proving that knowledge and fun go hand in hand.

在上海美國學(xué)校，進(jìn)行常規(guī)課堂之外的教學(xué)很常見。我們的AP環(huán)境科學(xué)課學(xué)生借此機(jī)會，冒險(xiǎn)進(jìn)入一個虛擬校園墓地，收集存活曲線數(shù)據(jù)，證明了學(xué)校的課程可以寓教于樂。

The students are further enriched by learning outside and looking at the subject in a more active and experiential way. While it’s housed in the science department, AP Environmental Science is an interdisciplinary course that focuses on ecological processes, human impacts on the Earth, and how to resolve or prevent natural and human-made environmental problems.

通過在戶外學(xué)習(xí)及以更積極、更富有體驗(yàn)感的方式研究課題，學(xué)生們學(xué)到的知識更加豐富。雖然被歸類在科學(xué)部門之下，但AP環(huán)境科學(xué)是一門跨學(xué)科課程，主要研究生態(tài)過程、人類對地球的影響以及如何解決或預(yù)防自然和人為環(huán)境問題。
