從一個學科老師的角度，來說說學業規劃這件事

學業規劃這件事，開始得越早越好！

為什么？

越早確定目標，可以越早有的放矢地參加活動、積累材料。

怎么規劃？

不妨從不斷發掘自己感興趣的事情開始。不管是課外活動還是學習科目，要不斷追問自己：到底喜歡做什么事。僅僅是喜歡還不夠，還要看自己是否能持之以恒地堅持去做這件事。如果找不到自己感興趣的事，那么還可以從自己擅長做的事開始。看看自己所有科目中，每回考試，分數最高的是哪一門或哪幾門，也許可以從自己擅長的科目中，找出自己的學業目標。

有了目標學校或目標專業后怎么辦？

1. 弄清楚目標大學和目標專業的入學要求
2. 有條件的話在寒暑假去目標大學校園參觀，實地感受校園氛圍；有機會跟在讀大學生交流當然更好了！
3. 根據前期調研，選擇合適的課程，參加合適的活動、學術活動。
4. 一般學業規劃；高一時考完雅思/托福；高二考完SAT；高中階段盡可能保持較高的GPA（期末考試成績）。

如何調研招生要求？

去大學官網上找，基本上都有“Admission”這一欄，就是點進去瀏覽網頁。然后可以找到大量的信息。比如進入加拿大多倫多大學的招生招生主頁，就可以看到如下要求：：Admission requirements vary between specific colleges and programs. In most cases a high school diploma is required. However, colleges may have program-specific requirements. It is prudent to enquire directly with the college regarding program specific admission requirements.http://www.utm.utoronto.ca/future-students/parents-counsellors/the-admissions-process#college所以建議學生去自己心儀的大學找自己心儀的專業，看自己未來需要在學業和課外活動方面準備哪些材料。在瀏覽學校網頁的過程中，你能找到許多實用的信息，比如：

申請時間： 斯坦福大學標準申請截止時間（Standard Application Deadline）是11月1日https://admission.stanford.edu/apply/deadlines/index.html加拿大多倫多大學的申請日期最好在2月1日之前。http://www.utm.utoronto.ca/future-students/parents-counsellors/the-admissions-process#college正因為申請日期不同，所以大家一定要明確自己想報考的學校申請截止日期，然后規劃自己的雅思/托福、SAT等語言考試的時間。

注意，這些考試考完還要一段時間才能出成績，所以一定要將出成績的這段時間也考慮在內。以免大學申請截止日快到了，而你的雅思/托福或SAT成績還沒出來。前文提到了學業規劃與自己的選課有關，這是因為不同的大學和專業，對所招學生的已學課程會有特定要求。

例如，斯坦福大學對學生課程的總體要求是：Recommended High School CurriculumWe respect the responsibility that high schools, principals and teachers should have in the development of courses and curricula for their students. For that reason, we do not have a set of required courses for admission to Stanford. We have found, though, that a curriculum emphasizing depth and breadth across the core academic subjects is the best preparation for the academic rigors at Stanford. Our experience has suggested that students who excel in a curriculum like the one below are well-suited for the demands of college academics:

• English:four years, with significant emphasis on writing and literature.
• Mathematics:four years, with significant emphasis on fundamental mathematical skills (algebra; trigonometry; plane, solid, and analytic geometry).
• History/Social Studies:three or more years. Such courses should include the writing of essays.
• Science:three or more years of laboratory science (including biology, chemistry and physics).
• Foreign Language:three or more years of the same foreign language. Your study of a foreign language ought to include the development of four basic skills: reading, writing, speaking and listening comprehension.

We expect applicants to pursue a reasonably challenging curriculum, choosing courses from among the most demanding courses available at your school. We ask you to exercise good judgment and to consult with your counselor, teachers and parents as you construct a curriculum that is right for you. Our hope is that your curriculum will inspire you to develop your intellectual passions, not suffer from unnecessary stress. 最后要嘮叨的一點是：有事沒事的時候，多瀏覽感興趣的大學的網頁。比如斯坦福大學Testing 部分說，斯坦福不規定SAT最低分，SAT分再高，也無法保證一定會被錄取。當時心頭一熱。可是再翻到Applicant Profile，看到2016年學生的申請情況：
