1. 常用于名詞前，表示典型的有代表性的人或者物等。

對話中的例子：What's typical summer food in Washington (D.C.)?

華盛頓夏天有代表性的食物是什么？

新例子：Tom is always ready to help others out. He is a typical gentleman ?in our class.

Tom總是樂于助人，他是我們班典型的紳士。

2. typical?of (sb./ sth.)特有的，獨特的，典型的，一貫的(常帶有抱怨或者批評的情感）
