對于教育學(xué)來講,澳洲大部分學(xué)校的教育學(xué)本科課程都被澳洲教師協(xié)會認可,一般分為單學(xué)位、雙學(xué)位、學(xué)前、小學(xué)、中學(xué)等方向,學(xué)制一般為4-5年。語言要求較高,完成學(xué)校實習(xí),順利獲得學(xué)位且雅思達到當?shù)刂菡Z言標準后即可注冊為教師。目前學(xué)前和中學(xué)教育方向為移民專業(yè)。對于碩士,主要學(xué)習(xí)學(xué)校課程開發(fā),教育管理,教育心理學(xué),教學(xué)研究等,將來可從事學(xué)校管理者,政府部門,教務(wù)工作者等工作。此專業(yè)不可以在澳洲做老師,是非移民專業(yè)。
2、澳洲教育專業(yè)——教學(xué)(Teaching)碩士
而教學(xué)(Teaching)碩士,澳洲的教學(xué)碩士分為學(xué)前、小學(xué)、中學(xué)三個領(lǐng)域,學(xué)生可以根據(jù)興趣及專業(yè)背景進行選擇,此專業(yè)語言要求較高,一般為雅思總分7.5分,聽說8分,讀寫7分。目前學(xué)前和中學(xué)方向為移民專業(yè)。
那么要想成為一名教師,需要經(jīng)過怎樣的評估過程呢?
至少具備的條件如下:
1、學(xué)位證書,相當于四年的澳洲教育本科學(xué)歷,如果本科不是教育的,要讀1-2年教師專業(yè)的研究生。
2、至少45天與所提名教師職業(yè)相關(guān)的受監(jiān)督的教學(xué)實踐。
3、雅思成績:聽說讀寫每部分都要在7分以上。有效期一年。

The Master of Teaching (Early Childhood) and Master of Teaching (Early Years) commence with a common Graduate Diploma of Teaching (Early Childhood) which prepares graduates with a qualification for pre-school teaching and is completed in three semesters of study.

The Master of Teaching (Secondary) prepares graduates for secondary teaching in a wide range of curriculum areas, and provides a qualification in two learning areas (or a double sequence). Teacher Candidates complete 200 points of study over two years full time. The first three semesters focus on teaching in learning areas with a strong emphasis on Clinical Teaching practice and preparation for independent teaching. In the second year Teacher Candidates can choose from coursework (which includes a capstone experience and electives) and research pathway options. The Master of Teaching (Primary) prepares graduates to teach in generalist primary classrooms.
