作為美高的AP社會考生怎么報考？該如何自行報考AP？

自己所在的高中不是AP學(xué)校，不幫他報考AP，他該如何自行報考？該如何校外進(jìn)行報考？自學(xué)和非AP學(xué)校的學(xué)生仍然是可以參加AP考試的！當(dāng)一位同學(xué)所在的高中不是AP學(xué)校，但希望報考AP考試時，可以通過以下步驟自行報考。

方法1：自行尋找附近AP考點

進(jìn)入AP Course Ledger網(wǎng)站https://apcourseaudit.inflexion.org/ledger/

輸入想查詢的州和城市，找到臨近的AP學(xué)校以后，可以在Google上搜索學(xué)校的網(wǎng)站和電話，聯(lián)系學(xué)校的負(fù)責(zé)人能否接受AP社會考生考試。

注意：AP Course Ledger上各個學(xué)校關(guān)于當(dāng)年提供考試的課程的信息不一定準(zhǔn)確，具體要和學(xué)校確認(rèn)為準(zhǔn)。

方法2：打電話查詢AP考點

首先要撥打888-225-5427 或者1 (212) 632-1780 (如果你在海外)來問到你所在當(dāng)?shù)氐腁P協(xié)調(diào)員的聯(lián)系方式，在打電話前先要把你想考的科目列出來，這樣Collegeboard會給你安排合適的協(xié)調(diào)員。

注意事項：

When calling Coordinators to arrange testing, make sure to tell them: You are trying to locate a school willing to administer exams to homeschooled students or students from schools that do not offer AP.

當(dāng)聯(lián)系當(dāng)?shù)氐膮f(xié)調(diào)員時，你必須告訴他，你在選擇一個為非AP學(xué)校學(xué)生和自學(xué)學(xué)生準(zhǔn)備的考點。

You will use a different school code so your exam score(s) will be reported separately from the school at which you test. (Homeschooled students will use the state home schooled code provided by the Coordinator on the day of the exam; students attending schools will use their school code.)

Once you locate a school willing to administer the exams, that school's AP Coordinator is responsible for ordering your exam materials, telling you when and where to appear for the exams and collecting your fees. (Please note that the school may elect to charge a higher exam fee in order to offset additional proctoring or administration costs.)
