2019衛報排名|物理專業排名&A-level要求，真的很魔幻了
英國的物理專業世界有名，走出了牛頓、瓦特、法拉第、麥克斯韋、瓦特、霍金等著名物理學家。
英國物理專業設置全面，包括理論物理、天文物理、應用物理等。
英國物理專業就業面很廣，比如說學術、制造業、管理類等。
那么今年《衛報》上排名情況如何呢？
前三名分別是圣安德魯斯、杜倫、伯明翰。
牛津則排名第四，利物浦位居第五。

堂堂的劍橋物理為啥沒有上榜，
《衛報》給出的解釋是，
有些大學個別專業學生太少，
所以沒有統計到排名里，
而是在最后列出，
但這不代表他們的教學質量不行。

You will need three A-levels (excluding General Studies and Critical Thinking) or equivalent with at least one of these in a Science (Biology; Human Biology; Chemistry; Mathematics; Physics.) The standard offer is A*AA at A-Level and you will need specific A-level grades to study:
Biology: A in either Biology or Chemistry.
Chemistry: A*A in any order in Chemistry and Mathematics.
Computer Science: A in Mathematics.
Economics: A in Mathematics.
Mathematics: Either A*A in any order in Maths and Further Maths at A-level or A* in Maths plus A in AS Further Maths for students unable to take A2 Further Maths.
Physics: A*A in any order in Maths and Physics.

Typical offer:A*AA / AAAA.
Required subjects and grades:
A level Mathematics and A level Physics grades A*A (or AA as part of the four A level offer). You must also pass the practical element of any reformed science A levels which include Biology, Chemistry and Physics taught from 2015.
General Studies:
Accepted as 4th A level in AAAA entry criteria.

A-levels: A*AA to include Mathematics and Physics. The A* must be in Mathematics, Physics or Further Mathematics.
All candidates must also take the Physics Aptitude Test as as part of their application.
