Parsons夏季集訓！Intensive Lighting Studio

無論是在校大學生或已經工作的專業人士，若對留學美國感興趣，卻不知道是否要再花費兩年時間念研究生學位，可以選擇先在明年（一月開放，五月十五截止報名）報名參加美國紐約設計名校Parsons照明設計暑期集訓課程。

小編個人非常推薦這個項目，尤其是對于在國內工作有一段時間的年輕設計師而言，與其用不多的年假出國旅游走馬觀花，是否可以考慮游學兼顧呢？提早計劃明年的夏天，紐約曼哈頓，在Parsons設計學院和來自世界各地的年輕設計師一起度過吧！

課程于每年六月中旬開展，工作室架構同研究生課程相似，師資十分強悍，課程作業密集、有趣、富有挑戰性。感興趣的小伙伴們可以提前準備，提升一下英語水平，不僅有助于校內學習（英文教學），也是為了出門游玩能有更流暢的體驗。

小編僅在此介紹照明設計相關信息。除了照明設計（為期一周）之外，Parsons也有建筑、室內、工業設計等多個專業的暑假集訓課程，為期三至五周。所有的夏校課程概況鏈接：

學生通過親手作業的練習，檢驗建筑與人工/自然光之間技術性及詩意的關聯。與此同時，也有機會接觸紐約這一大都會豐富的設計資源及新的照明工具與技術。

Students participate in hands-on exercises that examine the technical and poetic relationship that natural light and electric light have with architecture, while at the same time taking advantage of the vast design resources in the New York metropolitan area and new tools and techniques for lighting design.

課程以嚴謹的工作室模式進行（同本校研究生課程的設計相似），有助學生加深對設計的理解，尤其是空間尺度及人對空間的體驗。課程不僅包括多種形式的設計探索和觀念拓展、研究方法、設計歷史及理論，并有手繪、電腦渲染和模型制作手法的介紹。

This rigorous studio-based program immerses students in spatial and experiential design studies, including modes of design exploration and proposition, methods of design research along with contextual design history and theory, and introductions to hand and digital representation and making. Students develop a design proposal for a project of graduate design admissions quality.

與一流的設計師一起工作，你將會自行創作照明設計方案并且制作燈具來展示光是如何定義建筑的體量及空間。對于已經加入照明行業的專業人士而言，這個工作室也是一個讓自己在學院工作室環境中恢復活力，并與同行相互學習、掌握新技巧的機會。

Working alongside leading designers, you develop lighting plans and build fixtures that demonstrate the ways in which light defines architectural volume and space.For professionals, the studio is an opportunity to refresh and re-tool with other practicing professionals in an academic studio environment.
