作為“文商社科賽事天花板”的John Locke?寫作學術(shù)活動終于公布2023年題目啦!該寫作學術(shù)活動主要涉及7類科目:哲學、政治、經(jīng)濟、歷史、心理學、神學以及法學。
今年所有組別的題目數(shù)量都有所下降,Junior 組別從 2022 年的 7 道題下降到了 5 道,其余組別都從 4 道降至了 3 道,可供大家的選擇減少了。
讓我們一起來看看期待了一年,賽事組出了什么難題。
2023 John Locke題目
John Locke學術(shù)活動分為兩個學術(shù)活動組別,分別是高年級組和低年級組。
一、高年級組(14歲-18歲)
高年級組的參賽題目涉及哲學、經(jīng)濟、歷史、心理學、神學、政治、法律等7個人文社科領(lǐng)域,2023年每個領(lǐng)域有3個可選題目。
哲學 Philosophy
Q1. A team of scientists wants to discover how many genders there are. How should they proceed?
有一批科學家想要知道有多少種性別的存在。他們該如何開展后續(xù)的研究?
Q2. In what sense are you the same person today that you were when you were ten?
在哪種意義里,今天的你和 10 歲時的你是同一個人?

政治 Politics
Q1.?Do the results of elections express the will of the people?
選舉的結(jié)果是否表達了人民的意愿?

2023年比賽對來自任何國家的學生開放。
每篇文章必須僅解決所選主題類別中的一個問題,并且不得超過 2000 字(不包括圖表、數(shù)據(jù)表、腳注、參考書目或作者聲明)。

1對1 ? 20小時課程 John Locke Essay Competition主要考察學生哪些能力?
(1) 是否了解哲學,政治,經(jīng)濟,歷史,心理學,神學或法律等學科領(lǐng)域的基本知識結(jié)構(gòu)
(2)是否掌握議論文的基本寫作格式和技巧
(3)是否在文章中展現(xiàn)獨立的思想,清晰的邏輯和辯證的分析方式
一般中學生以上幾項能力都較為薄弱,通過該寫作課程,你將有機會靜下心來辯證地分析觀點,學習英文寫作的邏輯思維和技巧,收獲參與寫作比賽的寶貴經(jīng)歷,并更好地應(yīng)對IB/AP/A-Level等學術(shù)寫作。

Course will be a total of 20 hours. 16 Hours will be dedicated to an online course, while the other 4 will be spent on personal essay editing.
The course will be 10 sessions, with each session being 2 hours each. (C) stands for Course classes, while (E) stands for editing workloads.
Note: the student must finish the respective Project Progress work before the review sessions, or the course cannot guarantee a prompt and prestigious final essay.
