School for Creative-and-cultural-industries

繼去年開了健康商學院后，UCL今年開始著手填補傳媒領域的空白，開設新學院School for Creative-and-cultural-industries。

該學院將提供學位、短期課程和公共活動，重點是藝術和技術、創意實踐、媒體和電影、保護、遺產和公共歷史，以及創造性創業。也與社區伙伴、創意從業員和創意及文化界別機構合作。

The School for the Creative and Cultural Industries at UCL East will comprise six new creative spaces：

Undergraduate programmes

01 BA Media

02??BA Heritage

03 BA Creative Arts＆Humanities

01 MASc in Creative Health

Normally a minimum of an upper second-class UK Bachelor's degree or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard in psychology, medicine/biomedicine, nursing and other allied health professions, sciences, arts, liberal arts, humanities and social sciences.

Professional experience in the fields of arts, culture and health, or social prescribing, is desirable.

An applicant whose qualifications vary from UCL standards may be admitted if evidence of an adequate academic background and work experience in an appropriate field can be shown.

Intercalating MBBS/BMBS applicants are welcomed provided applicants have an undergraduate degree (2：1 minimum or equivalent) in a relevant subject.

02 MA in Creative and Collaborative Enterprise

03 Creative Documentary by Practice MFA

04 BA Media

Normally a minimum of an lower second-class Bachelor's degree in a social science, arts, humanities or science discipline from a UK university or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard.

Academically weaker applications will also be considered provided that they are supported by experience in visual arts or film making.

Applicants with prior technical knowledge of film making are asked to send a video portfolio of up to 20 minutes duration (use of a Vimeo link is recommended). Applicants without a video portfolio are asked to complete a photo essay.

05MA Public History

06 MA Immersive Storytelling

Applicants with lower second-class degrees (i.e. UK 2：2 or the overseas equivalent) may be considered if their application is supported strongly by relevant experience.

In exceptional circumstances, we will also consider applicants without higher education qualifications provided they demonstrate a significant track record in this or a related field.

We seek students who can show evidence of active engagement with visual or audio storytelling in previous work or study experience. We require a portfolio of work to support all applications.
