時間:2022年4月9日(周六)，上午10:30-11:20(50 分鐘)

美國生物奧林匹克活動的主辦方為美國精英教育中心(Centerfor excellence in education，簡稱:CEE)。CEE為非盈利教育學術機構于1983年成立。作為美國生物奧林匹克活動組委會，CEE每年為美國挑選和培訓生物奧林匹克國家隊參加世界生物奧林匹克活動(IBO)。

2016年，ASDAN中國辦公室(阿思丹)與CEE合作，首次將美國生物奧林匹克活動引入中國。采用同樣評審標準，幫助中國高中生提高生物學科學習同時，為成績優秀者申請美國頂級大學理工科專業提供有力的競爭優勢。獲獎同學可獲得參加國際頂級科學類活動的邀請。2020年，來自239所國際高中和重點中學的代表參與了該活動。

*注:"BioOlympiadInitiative"原名"美國生物奧林匹克學術活動/BIO-USACN”，根據教育部辦公廳《關于面向中小學生的全國性學術活動活動管理辦法(試行)》的通知以及教育主管部門的要求，現改名為“美國生物奧林匹克活動”。該學術挑戰活動不與任何中國的大學、中學或小學升學加分活動掛鉤，其成績不會作為任何中國中小學升學或評優的依據，僅定位為針對中學生物愛好者的課外興趣活動和國際生物教學交流活動。
