Countries overcome COVID by taking Singapore and Asian Schools Math Olympiad (SASMO) locally through paper competitions or Going ONLINE.

Despite COVID threatening many countries, 28,760 top math students from 26 countries and territories competed in the Singapore and Asian Schools Math Olympiad (SASMO) recently.

This year, another 11 Perfect Scorers from 7 countries joined the ranks of 161 Perfect Scorers since SASMO’s inception in 2006. 2021 Perfect Scorers hail from:

Iran – ARSHAN ALIZADEH GHAMSARI(Grade 3)
Malaysia – TEO SHEN JOON (Grade 1)

各國通過紙筆比賽或在線參加新加坡和亞洲學(xué)校的數(shù)學(xué)奧林匹克 (SASMO) 在當(dāng)?shù)乜朔?COVID。

盡管新冠病毒威脅到許多國家，但來自 26 個(gè)國家和地區(qū)的 28,760 名數(shù)學(xué)頂尖學(xué)生最近參加了新加坡和亞洲學(xué)校數(shù)學(xué)奧林匹克學(xué)術(shù)活動(dòng) (SASMO)。

今年，自 SASMO 于 2006 年成立以來，又有來自 7 個(gè)國家/地區(qū)的 11 位完美得分手加入了 161 位完美得分手的行列。2021 年完美得分手來自：

中國 – 劉瑞芝（三年級(jí)）
中國香港 – 徐嘉琪（三年級(jí)）
伊朗 – ARSHAN ALIZADEH GAMSARI（3 級(jí)）
馬來西亞 – TEO SHEN JOON（一年級(jí)）

FORMAT OF THE TEST

SASMO is open to all Primary 2 to 6 and Secondary 1 to 4 students (Grade 2 to 10 students from International schools). The duration of the test is 90 minutes for all grades. Each level has a differentiated paper and contains 25 questions within 2 sections:

Section A: 15 Multiple Choice Questions (2 points for each correct answer; 0 point for each unanswered question; deduct 1 point for each wrong answer)

Section B: 10 Non-routine Questions (4 points for each correct answer; no penalty for wrong answers)

Total: 85 points (to avoid negative scores, each student will begin with 15 points)

考試形式

SASMO 向所有小二至六年級(jí) 和中一至四 年級(jí)學(xué)生（國際學(xué)校的2 至 10年級(jí)學(xué)生）開放。所有年級(jí)的考試時(shí)間為90 分鐘。每個(gè)級(jí)別都有一個(gè)差異化的論文 ，包含 25 個(gè)問題，分為 2 個(gè)部分：

A 部分： 15 道選擇題（每道正確答案 2 分；每道未答題 0 分；每答錯(cuò)扣 1 分）

B 部分： 10 道非常規(guī)問題（每個(gè)正確答案 4 分；錯(cuò)誤答案不扣分）

總分：85分（為避免負(fù)分，每個(gè)學(xué)生以15分開始）
