老梁解析 | 夏校申請指南--UC Los Angeles

今天我們來講一講UCLA的夏校申請，也是一個大熱門。所以具有比較強的參考價值。首先需要注意的是，UCLA的夏校課程也是分成在讀國際大學(xué)生和國際高中生的，所以選擇課程的時候一定要在"I am...."處選擇清楚：https://summer.ucla.edu/internationalstudent

International Student

以international student身份申請，即你作為美國之外的大學(xué)國際生申請時，首先要了解大學(xué)的語言要求，如下（基本上會用到的就是TOEFL和IELTS兩種）：

TOEFL	- minimum score of 80 (iBT) or 550 (PBT)
IELTS	- minimum score of 6.5
iTEP	- ?minimum score of 5
CAE/CPE	- Level C1 A, B, and C

再次，申請時需要注意，國際生申請的只能是Session A和C，其他session無法申請。申請開始時間是2月17日，注冊課程時間時5月1日（Session A）和6月1日（Session C）。這兩session的安排如下，大家酌情安排：

申請時，先要完成online registration form。待美國時間12月17日，國際生可以申請：https://summer.ucla.edu/academiccourses/internationalstudent/registrationandenrollment，注意，如果你是UC在讀學(xué)生或者又是UCLA的學(xué)生，那么你的開始時間是2月1日。完成form的時候，你會被引導(dǎo)支付400美金注冊費。然后開始enroll courses，操作步驟如下：

Do not proceed with the enrollment steps below until AFTER completing all steps in the “Registration” section above first.

Visit MyUCLA and sign-in with your Logon and password

On the main menu, select "Classes," then "Find a Class and Enroll"

Make sure "Summer 2020" is selected. Search for classes using the "Subject Area" or the "Advanced Search." Once you successfully enter your search parameters, select “Go”

Enable your enrollment by selecting all the terms and conditions, and clicking "Enable Enrollment." If you’ve already enabled enrollment, skip to step 5

Check the box for your desired course. If course has a section, please select a discussion as well. Select “Enroll” to verify enrollment

至于申請I20，即入境合法文件，參照學(xué)校給出的方案即可，不用很麻煩。

注冊的截止時間是5月3日（Session A）以及6月3日（Session C）,都使用上傳掃描件即可。故而抓緊時間。

International High School Student

高中生的所有夏季課程都設(shè)置在UCLA的PreCollege Summer Institute,大部分的課程都能保證各位高中小朋友們住校的需求，也就是有housing。目前2020年的課程還沒發(fā)出來，等2月15日開始申請時，大家可以上去看看。目前可以先參考下2019年的課程。

注意注冊課程的方式方法，雖然沒有公布，但是根據(jù)以往經(jīng)驗，應(yīng)該和International Student的申請是一個路徑，包括I20的申請方式。
