項目介紹

哥倫比亞大學（Columbia University），正式名稱為紐約市哥倫比亞大學（Columbia University in the City of New York），簡稱為哥大，為美國大學協會的十四所創始院校之一，常春藤盟校之一。

Summer Immersion課程，為成績優異的學生提供了在哥倫比亞大學常春藤盟校校園學習的機會，并享受大學生活的活力。學生們在參加活動和工作坊的同時提高了他們的學術技能，幫助他們為上大學做好準備。

這項為期一周的沉浸式課程對進入9年級至12年級以及大學一年級的學生開放。它將嚴謹的學術和卓越的教學與生動的課外活動以及細心的監督和支持結合起來。

參與者選擇一個課程選項，對特定學科領域進行深入檢查。每天上課兩次，每次兩小時。學生通過課堂討論、實驗室、辯論、模擬、研討會、指定閱讀、個人和小組項目等活動直接參與主題學習。學生們參加各種課外活動，包括大學準備計劃、社區外展和宣傳活動，以及有關各種感興趣主題的專題講座。課程參與者每天下午還一起在校園咖啡廳吃飯（提供午餐）。
