我們都是熱血的排球少年 | 清華附中國(guó)際部第一賽季賽事回顧（男子排球）

2019-2020學(xué)年北京市國(guó)際學(xué)校運(yùn)動(dòng)聯(lián)盟的第一個(gè)賽季圓滿結(jié)束。來(lái)自清華附中國(guó)際部的兩支男子排球隊(duì)分別獲得第一賽區(qū)亞軍及第四賽區(qū)亞軍。隊(duì)員們?cè)诒荣愔姓宫F(xiàn)了高超的技術(shù)以及國(guó)際部的核心價(jià)值觀。本期，讓我們一同回顧男隊(duì)在這個(gè)賽季的精彩瞬間吧！

The two THIS JV Boys Volleyball teams ended the season with second place in ISAC Division 1 and second place in ISAC Division 4.All players played well and represented THIS values of sportsmanship, support, growth and hard work throughout thier seasons.

男子排球一隊(duì)——第一賽區(qū)亞軍

Varsity Boys – 2nd Place in Division 1

清華附中國(guó)際部男子排球一隊(duì)在本賽季躋身水平最強(qiáng)的第一賽區(qū)，這是對(duì)實(shí)力的肯定同時(shí)也意味著巨大的挑戰(zhàn)。總體來(lái)說(shuō)，本賽季男子排球一隊(duì)的表現(xiàn)可圈可點(diǎn)，雖然在賽季初有失水準(zhǔn)，但他們?cè)诤髞?lái)的比賽里全力應(yīng)對(duì)，發(fā)揮穩(wěn)定。球隊(duì)中的每一名成員都展現(xiàn)了高超的運(yùn)動(dòng)技能和體育精神。隊(duì)員們攻防兩端發(fā)揮出色，教練在球隊(duì)陷入低迷時(shí)給予極大的支持。球隊(duì)在總決賽中將亞軍獎(jiǎng)杯收入囊中，完美結(jié)束本賽季。

The THIS Varsity boys volleyball team competed in division 1 in ISAC this year, the highest division available. This would be a challenge to the team to step up their level of play. The THIS Varsity boys volleyball team managed to do this and did a tremendous job this season. The team didn’t have a good start when the season begun, but they managed to relax and gave all their skills and effort afterwards. Every player on the team showed great skills and sportsmanship on the court. They made beautiful sets and smashes, and they made very decent defense plays. The coach did a great job on encouraging his players and gathering the team together when they are down. At last, the team played really good and showed full effort on the final tournament, and got a second place, which ended the season as a happy result.

本賽季第一場(chǎng)比賽男隊(duì)出師不利，不敵北京加拿大國(guó)際學(xué)校。之后，球隊(duì)以微弱的優(yōu)勢(shì)戰(zhàn)勝海嘉國(guó)際雙語(yǔ)學(xué)校。雖然惜敗北京德威英國(guó)國(guó)際學(xué)校，但球隊(duì)連贏德國(guó)使館學(xué)校和北京樂(lè)成國(guó)際學(xué)校，結(jié)束常規(guī)賽的所有比賽。決賽中，球隊(duì)和北京德威英國(guó)國(guó)際學(xué)校再度對(duì)位，隊(duì)員們吸取上場(chǎng)比賽的經(jīng)驗(yàn)，憑借實(shí)力和信心拿下了比賽。總決賽雖不敵北京加拿大國(guó)際學(xué)校，但亞軍獎(jiǎng)杯依然給本賽季畫上了美好的句號(hào)。

The boys lost their first game against CISB, showing them the level they needed to play at. They then went on to win against BIBA in a close match. They then lost a close match to DCB before beating DSP and BCIS to close out the regular season. In the final tournament, they got a rematch against DCB and with their improvement and confidence took the victory, moving them on to the finals where they fell to CISB. It was a great season of growth for the boys.

運(yùn)動(dòng)之星

Player of the Week

劉澎潮無(wú)論是球技還是場(chǎng)上場(chǎng)下的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)能力都非常出色。當(dāng)隊(duì)伍落后，球員們情緒低落時(shí)，他總是那個(gè)鼓舞士氣和制造氣氛的人。此外，他一傳和二傳都很穩(wěn)定。

Charlie showed a lot of wonderful skills on the court and played a great team leader during the game and practice. When the team was behind and his teammates are depressed, Charlie always encourages his teammates and make sure the team chemistry are stable. Charlie also showed great skills on receiving the ball and setting the ball for his teammate.

趙政遠(yuǎn)同學(xué)賽場(chǎng)上既尊重隊(duì)友也尊重對(duì)手，在比賽中能夠全力拼搏、賽場(chǎng)上表現(xiàn)突出，贏得了大家的信任和尊重！

Edward showed great improvements from the last game. He showed great attitude and pushed as hard as he can. Edward respected his teammates and opponents. During the game, Edward made a lot of amazing plays that was impressive.

梁燁同學(xué)在球場(chǎng)上拼勁十足，展現(xiàn)了出色的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)才能。他為隊(duì)友傳了不少好球，也奮力撲救起很多球。此外，他在場(chǎng)上發(fā)揮的十分沉著穩(wěn)定。

Kenny displayed great effort and leadership skills. Kenny also showed great skills on the court. He made a couple great sets for his teammates, and he also performed a lot of splendid saves. Kenny also acted really calm on the court, and performed really awesome.

男子排球二隊(duì)——第四賽區(qū)亞軍

Varsity Boys – 2nd Place in Division 4

清華附中國(guó)際部男子排球二隊(duì)在本賽季首場(chǎng)比賽對(duì)陣北京英國(guó)學(xué)校，雖然0比3不敵對(duì)手，但教練Sumita老師認(rèn)為這不失為一個(gè)很好的開(kāi)始。在接下來(lái)的日常訓(xùn)練中，男隊(duì)隊(duì)員利用午飯和周三放學(xué)后的時(shí)間加訓(xùn)加練，進(jìn)步顯著。此后，男隊(duì)豪取四連勝，以3比0的大比分橫掃北京鼎石國(guó)際學(xué)校、海嘉國(guó)際雙語(yǔ)學(xué)校、北京哈羅英國(guó)學(xué)校，以及北京樂(lè)成國(guó)際學(xué)校，成為小組二號(hào)種子選手成功挺進(jìn)決賽。

On September 6th, 2019, the THIS JV Boys Volleyball team had their first game of the season at BSB. Despite ended up with a 0:3 loss against BSB, the process was a decent start to the season which Coach Sumita was quite happy with. The JV boys then progressed significantly through their hard work poured at regular trainings, and additional trainings during lunch and Wednesdays afterschool. There is no better way to show this than the next 4 consecutive wins the Spartans pulled out against Keystone, BIBA, Harrow, and BCIS, which were all 3:0 wins! In doing so, the Spartans were able to go to the final tournament as the number 2 seed, where the number 1 seed is BSB.

作為二號(hào)種子選手，男隊(duì)享有首場(chǎng)輪空直接進(jìn)入第二輪的特權(quán)。只要他們拿下對(duì)陣海嘉雙語(yǔ)學(xué)校的比賽，就可以向總決賽和冠軍獎(jiǎng)杯發(fā)起沖擊。男隊(duì)隊(duì)員全力以赴，認(rèn)真對(duì)待每一次發(fā)球和進(jìn)攻，最終以3比0輕取比賽。

As the number 2 seed, the Spartans had a bye for the first round of the tournament. They would advance to the finals as long as they won against BIBA in the second round. During the game with BIBA, every Spartan of the team played with full concentration with almost no faulty serves and hits, there was even a set which the Spartans won by 15 points. The Spartans eventually won 3:0 against BIBA for the second time and advanced to the finals.

總決賽中男隊(duì)與北京英國(guó)學(xué)校再度對(duì)位。面對(duì)實(shí)力雄厚的對(duì)手，男隊(duì)隊(duì)員沒(méi)有膽怯。雖然0比3失掉比賽，但他們?yōu)橛^眾和自己獻(xiàn)上一場(chǎng)精彩的對(duì)決，第四賽區(qū)亞軍獎(jiǎng)杯也給本賽季交上了一份滿意的答卷。期待他們?cè)谙聜€(gè)賽季的精彩表現(xiàn)！

The Spartans' final opponent was BSB again, a team filled with athleticism and physical advantages compared to the Spartans. In the end, the Spartans lost 0:3 against BSB for the second time, but this time it was certainly a much closer and marvelous game than their first loss against BSB. The JV boys ended the season with second place in ISAC Division 4 and we hope all of them will have a brighter experience with volleyball next season.

運(yùn)動(dòng)之星

Player of the Week

Martin在訓(xùn)練和對(duì)陣北京英國(guó)學(xué)校的比賽中都展現(xiàn)了極大的決心。當(dāng)隊(duì)友失分時(shí)，他是堅(jiān)強(qiáng)的后盾，是團(tuán)隊(duì)凝聚力的核心。他是一個(gè)充滿激情和能量的球員。

Martin Wong kicks off as the first JV players of the week. He has definitely been very determined in practices and in the first game at BSB. Martin had contributed a lot to his team by constantly backing them up when losing a point and driving his team positively. He is very passionate player.

Howard在對(duì)陣北京鼎石國(guó)際學(xué)校的比賽中表現(xiàn)出色。第三局他用強(qiáng)勁的發(fā)球、準(zhǔn)確的傳球和攔網(wǎng)能力，帶領(lǐng)隊(duì)伍贏得比賽。無(wú)論在日常訓(xùn)練還是比賽中，他都是一名靠得住的球員。

Howard is a really strong player in the JV team, who played and won against Keystone in the last week. In the third set, Howard carried the team to the finish line. He played very strong with his serves, accurate passes and blocking at the net. He is a good teammate who is extremely reliable during games and trainings.

Ben在對(duì)陣北京海嘉雙語(yǔ)學(xué)校時(shí)成為拿下比賽的關(guān)鍵球員。比賽前半程，他與隊(duì)員默契配合，讓球隊(duì)士氣大增。比賽后半程他連續(xù)砍下13分，幫助球隊(duì)大比分取得勝利。

Ben had been the key player of the JV boys team, especially in the game against BIBA. He stood out as the most important player for the victory, from the get-go, he collaborated well with his teammates and kept the spirit of the team up. Near the end of the game he scored 13 points in a row to give THIS a smashing victory.

兩支球隊(duì)在整個(gè)賽季中都踐行了體育精神、團(tuán)隊(duì)精神和永不放棄的拼搏精神。
