轉(zhuǎn)學(xué)，是不少童鞋遇到過的，因為想找到更合適的專業(yè)或者不甘心現(xiàn)狀的學(xué)校。不是所有的學(xué)校都支持轉(zhuǎn)學(xué)，或者說很多還是很不容易轉(zhuǎn)成功的，但童鞋們?nèi)绻^對優(yōu)秀的話，轉(zhuǎn)學(xué)也是未嘗不可的。

這里先拿一部分TOP學(xué)校的轉(zhuǎn)學(xué)要求出來，供大家參考。

At the discretion of the Admissions Committee, supplementary materials—such as music recordings, slides of artwork, or selected samples of academic work—may be evaluated by faculty. These materials are entirely optional; please only submit them if you have unusual talents.

Applicants have two options for submitting optional materials, either electronically through ?our Slideroom account or by sending hard copy through the mail. ?Each option is outlined below.

Admission to the majorStudents interested in the Sociology? major should complete either a freshman seminar or at least one introductory course (SOCY?126b, Health of the Public; SOCY?133a, Computers, Networks, and Society; SOCY?135a, Islamic Society, Culture, and Politics) by the end of the sophomore year. This course may be applied toward the requirements of the major. The director of undergraduate studies can waive the introductory course requirement for students who demonstrate adequate preparation for advanced course work in sociology.

Transfer applicants must take the ACT Plus Writing or the SAT Reasoning Test. Yale will not consider an application without scores from at least one of these tests. The only exception is for students from countries where these tests are not offered (such as the People’s Republic of China and Iran).

Mid-Term Grade Report （Transfer applicants who gain admission or are on the waiting list must also submit spring term transcripts. The mid-term grade report is due when spring mid-term grades become available. Please download the Mid-Term Report form from the Common Application website.）

We will accept audio recordings, musical scores, art samples, writing samples, scientific research papers, film, and dance. We generally do not encourage you to submit additional letters of recommendation, resumes, or personal essays;

Yale receives more than 1,000 transfer applications each year, and we have spaces for only 20 to 30 students.

You may be eligible to transfer some or all of your prior college credits, up to a maximum of eighteen course credits.

Yale students generally declare their majors in their sophomore year or at the beginning of their junior years.

Transfer applicants are not offered interviews.

• Columbia-specific member questions

• The Columbia Writing Supplement to the Common Application

• An official high school transcript from all schools attended

• An official college transcript from all schools attended

• Three letters of recommendation: two Academic Evaluations from college professors and one from an advising dean or academic adviser
