1.網(wǎng)申系統(tǒng)簡介

隨著網(wǎng)絡(luò)時代的發(fā)展，基本上所有的院校都有自己的網(wǎng)上申請系統(tǒng)，目前學校常用的由四大網(wǎng)申系統(tǒng)，接下來我們挨個介紹一下。第一個是Apply yourself 系統(tǒng)。這是目前最常用的網(wǎng)申系統(tǒng)，幾乎有一多半的學校都是使用的這個系統(tǒng)。簡單明了，任何填錯填漏的信息只要check一下就有詳細的定位鏈接提示；支持文件的上傳（如CV、PS、成績單等）會自動轉(zhuǎn)換成PDF格式（可預(yù)覽結(jié)果）；推薦信這一塊做的最好，除了填寫推薦人信息稍顯復(fù)雜之外，最大的優(yōu)點是在submitted之前（也是online付申請費之前）就可以發(fā)出網(wǎng)推email到推薦人指定的信箱（我沒有見到有要求必須是.edu的推薦信箱），而且可以很方便地進行修改、刪除更換和重新發(fā)送網(wǎng)推email給推薦人。

第二個是Embark系統(tǒng)，這個系統(tǒng)使用的不是太多，和apply yourself的功能十分接近，只是界面上有差別，對于推薦信的處理也幾乎是完全一樣的，而且推薦人信息的填寫更簡潔。

第三個是Apply Web系統(tǒng)，這個系統(tǒng)使用僅次于Embark系統(tǒng)。但是界面采用翻頁方式，訪問速度慢，優(yōu)點是如果同時有幾所這個系統(tǒng)的學校，就可以在統(tǒng)一界面下管理，不需要頻繁地登陸帳號和密碼。最大的缺點是對于推薦信的處理，必須submitted和付費之后才可以發(fā)網(wǎng)推推薦email，這樣帶來一定的不確定性，而且沒法修改和調(diào)整。第四個是Apply Texas系統(tǒng)，德州的公立大學都采用這個系統(tǒng)，沒有check功能，submitted之前如果有錯，系統(tǒng)并不明確指向，讓你花很長時間去檢查。最麻煩的是推薦信的處理，網(wǎng)申的話在付費提交之后，系統(tǒng)會通過電子郵件發(fā)一個UIN和Net ID給你（據(jù)說這個過程可能最長達數(shù)周以上），然后你憑這個登陸到另外一個網(wǎng)上推薦人系統(tǒng)處理推薦信。所以第四個BUG多，不合適。
