BMO英國數學奧林匹克賽事

BMO 英國數學奧林匹克活動（British Mathematical Olympiad） 是由UKMT英國數學基金會組織的活動項目，考察學生的數學綜合學術實力。UKMT擁有完善的數學評估體系，不僅提供廣泛的數學賽事活動，還負責通過BMO挑選IMO英國國家隊成員。

BMO選拔晉級路徑為：JMC→IMC→SMC→BMO Round1→BMO Round2→IMO

以前想要參加BMO必須先參加SMC（Senior Maths Challenge）并取得優異成績，而SMC不接受個人報名，必須由英國教育體制的學校統一報名。

而從2022年開始，中國學生可以直接報名參加BMO Round 1，有時間精力和一定數學能力的同學們可不要錯過這個機會啦！

參賽對象：在校高中生

賽事時間：

Round 1：11月

Round 2：2024年1月25日 17:00-20:30

考察形式：3.5小時，證明題，要求明確的解題步驟和過程，展現完整的思路。

考察內容：通常涵蓋幾何學、三角學、函數方程、代數、數論、組合數學等。

Round 1 獎項設置

Gold Medal：英國TOP20名

Silver Medal：英國21-25名

Bronze Medal：英國51-100名

Distinction：約前26%學生獲得

Merit：約前66%學生獲得
