PayScale薪資報告詳細區分了每種大學專業，綜合非營利私立和公立大學的數據，采集了230萬在美國就業的畢業生情況。從489個大學本科專業中排列出50個薪資最高的專業，幾乎全是STEM，尤其是工程，前20名里有18個是工程方向。
