AP環境科學是一門研究人類社會發展活動與環境演化規律的相互作用關系，尋求人類社會與環境協同演化、持續發展途徑與方法的的科學。

下面詳細的介紹一下每個章節的重點、難點。

（1）Earth science concepts涉及地球的發展歷史、結構（三部分）、板塊、自轉、公轉

（2）三大體系：大氣atmosphere、水water、巖石soil

其中第二大部分是重點，在 atmosphere 部分注意 five layers、atmosphere circulation、coriolis effect、wind、典型的天氣、氣候；

在 water 部分注意水的分類及循環、ocean currents、lake；soil 注意 soil cycle、formation、composition、erosion。

每個部分導致的 global problem 詳見第六章節。

（1）Population biology concepts，主要包含 Population dynamics; carrying capacity（K值）; reproductive strategies（r or k）; survivorship

（2）Human population，掌握簡單的計算比如 ARPC、Doubling time，注意 fertility rate 及分類，看懂 age-structure diagrams，會分析 impacts of population growth

（1）Agriculture，以農業播種收獲的過程為框架，掌握農業的類型（注意Conventional & Agroecology）、存在的問題（比如 deforestation）

（2）Forestry,，harvesting methods，management

（3）Rangeland，放牧兩種方式、存在問題—overgrazing

（4）Mining，方式及存在問題，注意tailings

（5）Fishing，分類、aquaculture（水產養殖）

（1）energy concept，分類、熱力學定律、發展歷史

（2）Fossil fuel，coal、petroleum、natural gas,掌握形成、提取過程

（3）Nuclear energy，fission & fussion反應，代表性的反應器流程，radioactive waste

（4）Renewable energy，技術及發展現狀

本章節實際是建立在前五章節的基礎上，分為?air、water、solid?三大部分，每一部分都需要掌握?major pollutants、source、cause、effect and solution，除此之外還需要注意:

（1）Air pollution，smog、acid deposition、indoor pollution

（2）Water? pollution，三級污水處理方式

（3）Solid? waste，sanitary landfills

最后，了解一下hazards to human health。

（1）Ozone，掌握 formation、ozone depletion、effect & strategies

（2）Global warming，green gas、impacts & consequences

（3）Loss of biodiversity

總的來說，AP環境科學的這七章內容可以分為三大板塊。

前兩章節可以歸為認識自然板塊，多在選擇題中出現，注意小知識點的掌握.

三、四、五章節歸為人類活動，六、七章節為人類過度活動導致的環境污染，這兩大板塊多在大題中出現，尤其是最后兩章，常從日常生活中的現象切入考察本質內容，需要考生綜合掌握前面幾章節，靈活運用基礎知識，合理解釋表象。

AP環境科學是一門大雜燴，它涉及地理、物理、化學、生物、數學、英語等多門學科，盡管學科面很廣但知識點并不是很深入，建議考生一定先理解掌握邏輯框架，注意前后章節之間是關聯性，然后在框架中填充知識點，把知識掌握的更加系統、全面。
