丘成桐中學科學獎（生物）意在培養青年生物學人才鼓勵高中生生物思維創新并激發高中生對生物研究的興趣。生物形態學是一門古老的學科，形態學與分類學很早就被牽扯到創世說與進化論不斷討論之中。

丘成桐生物獎

丘成桐中學生物獎，于2016年設立。大賽采用研究報告的形式，研究課題可以是所有和生物學相關的內容，既包括通過實驗獲得的研究成果，也包括純理論的分析。

生物獎旨在：

激發中學生對于生物研究的興趣、夯實中學生的基本生物理論基礎

鼓勵中學們在生物領域的創新

拓寬中學生在科學上的國際視野

培養和發現專注生物的年輕人才

建立中學和大學間的橋梁和紐帶

生物獎面向全球華人中學生，舍棄試卷和標準答案，發現和培養有前途的年輕生物天才，幫助他們更好地適應未來社會的挑戰。哈佛大學、普林斯頓大學、清華大學等國內外知名學府及大師們的關注，將為國內外華人中學生提供生物領域全新的舞臺和機會。

評審標準

與生物學科的相關性

研究主題和研究方法的原創性

概念的正確性和結論的合理性

研究報告書的學術規范性

若參加面試答辯，口語表達的學術規范性：面試答辯需要說清楚問題的背景，關鍵背景材料，以及參賽隊伍的所有原創內容

若參加面試答辯，闡述團隊的合作性：如是團隊參賽，其中每位作者都必須口頭報告部分內容，并回答評委所提問題

評審委員在關注學術原創性的同時，還特別關注參賽團隊的學術道德和誠信

關于丘成桐中學科學獎

丘成桐中學生科學獎是2008年由數學大師丘成桐先生發起設立的中學生科學創新類獎項，也是目前唯一面向全球華人中學生的科研賽事。

丘獎是以“科研學術論文”和“專業學術答辯”為評價主體的科學賽事，倡導創新思維和團隊合作，舍棄試卷和標準答案，以提交論文的形式參賽。

丘成桐中學科學獎從十四年前單一的數學獎，發展到今天的數學獎、物理獎、化學獎、生物獎、計算機獎和經濟金融建模獎，具有高度的國際影響力。
