美國(guó)化學(xué)奧賽是面向中學(xué)生的多層級(jí)選拔賽。在國(guó)家賽排名前四名的學(xué)生將代表美國(guó)參加國(guó)際化學(xué)奧賽。

Local Chemistry Olympiad Competitions (地方賽)是美國(guó)化學(xué)奧賽的初級(jí)選拔賽。美國(guó)化學(xué)會(huì)上海分會(huì)負(fù)責(zé)承辦USNCO在中國(guó)地方賽的舉辦。受疫情影響，2022年地方賽將采取線上考試的形式，考試內(nèi)容仍然采取選擇題形式。

報(bào)名須知:

1. 地方賽無(wú)國(guó)籍限制，為激勵(lì)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)化學(xué)的熱情，ACS上海分會(huì)將為參加地方賽的學(xué)生排名，評(píng)選一、二、三等獎(jiǎng)。受考試平臺(tái)席位制約，如不能保證每位感興趣的學(xué)生參與，敬請(qǐng)諒解。

2. 僅符合下列條件的優(yōu)勝者才可以參加國(guó)家賽。

Eligible students must be U.S. Citizens, enrolled in an American school* for at least one year, and under the age of 20.

* American school is defined as a school accredited by either the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSACS), the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), the North Central Association of Schools and Colleges (NCASC), or the Northwest Association of College and Schools (NACS)

3. 學(xué)生報(bào)名需經(jīng)學(xué)校化學(xué)指導(dǎo)老師認(rèn)可，并在報(bào)名時(shí)提供指導(dǎo)老師姓名和聯(lián)系方式。

2022 U.S. National Chemistry Olympiad (USNCO) is coming!

The U.S. National Chemistry Olympiad is a multi-tiered chemistry competition. The top four students of the national competition represent the United States in the annual International Chemistry Olympiad.

The Local Chemistry Olympiad Competitions is the first step in the U.S. National Chemistry Olympiad. ACS Shanghai Chapter coordinators oversee the administration of ACS Local Exam in China. In light of the continued uncertainty caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, both the Local Competitions and the National Exams will be offered virtually in 2022.

How to register:

1.Students of all nationalities can take the Local Exams and in order to stimulate young people to achieve excellence in chemistry, First, Second and Third Prize certificates will be presented to the excellent students in the Local Exams. However only eligible students can be selected and?attend the National Exam.
