美國化學奧賽是面向中學生的多層級選拔賽。在國家賽排名前四名的學生將代表美國參加國際化學奧賽。

Local Chemistry Olympiad Competitions (地方賽)是美國化學奧賽的初級選拔賽。美國化學會上海分會負責承辦USNCO在中國地方賽的舉辦。受疫情影響，2022年地方賽將采取線上考試的形式，考試內容仍然采取選擇題形式。

報名須知:

1. 地方賽無國籍限制，為激勵學生學習化學的熱情，ACS上海分會將為參加地方賽的學生排名，評選一、二、三等獎。受考試平臺席位制約，如不能保證每位感興趣的學生參與，敬請諒解。

2. 僅符合下列條件的優勝者才可以參加國家賽。

Eligible students must be U.S. Citizens, enrolled in an American school* for at least one year, and under the age of 20.

* American school is defined as a school accredited by either the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSACS), the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), the North Central Association of Schools and Colleges (NCASC), or the Northwest Association of College and Schools (NACS)

3. 學生報名需經學校化學指導老師認可，并在報名時提供指導老師姓名和聯系方式。

2022 U.S. National Chemistry Olympiad (USNCO) is coming!

The U.S. National Chemistry Olympiad is a multi-tiered chemistry competition. The top four students of the national competition represent the United States in the annual International Chemistry Olympiad.

The Local Chemistry Olympiad Competitions is the first step in the U.S. National Chemistry Olympiad. ACS Shanghai Chapter coordinators oversee the administration of ACS Local Exam in China. In light of the continued uncertainty caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, both the Local Competitions and the National Exams will be offered virtually in 2022.

How to register:

1.Students of all nationalities can take the Local Exams and in order to stimulate young people to achieve excellence in chemistry, First, Second and Third Prize certificates will be presented to the excellent students in the Local Exams. However only eligible students can be selected and?attend the National Exam.
