關于AP美國歷史，你需要知道的所有事情

· 為什么需要考？

AP分數3分以上（滿分5分）的學生在大學學業成功概率更高；

“Research consistently shows that students who receive a score of 3 or higher on AP Exams typically experience greater academic success in college and have higher graduation rates than their non-AP peers.” —College Board

AP分數3分以上可以替換成大學的學分（5 分＝A；4 分＝A?, B+,? B；3 分＝B?, C+,? C）；

· 得分情況怎么樣？難考嗎？

College Board 統計了去年考生在各個學科中的各個分數項的百分比 (見下表)。在歷史社科類中，AP各學科考試人數和3分以上的考生比例是：

我們可以看到考美國史的人數在歷史社科中是相對最大的（僅次于英語語言English Language，排第三參考人數最多的是English Literature），大多數本土考生的選擇也許是實際角度出發，畢竟美國歷史和英語語言／文學是美高都已經學過的內容，拿到3分以上應該相對值得的事。這就很迷了，因為現實是美國史拿到高分的比例卻相對比較低。這個考試不是想像中的那么容易，為什么考試人數那么多呢？

也許，即便實現考分需要加大功夫，但這個學習的過程是值得的。對于我們即將去美國讀本科的學生們來說更是如此。備考美國史的過程，考生需要訓練閱讀歷史文獻的能力，語言層面上是詞匯積累和應用的過程，在思維層面上，分析不同歷史觀點，思考起因經過和影響，并把階段歷史放在大的歷史背景去審視，是學習辯證思維（critical thinging skills）的過程。

· AP美國史考什么內容呢？

【第一部分】

Part A. 多選題55道，占比40%，55分鐘，知識點范圍1491年到現在。考生需要閱讀歷史文獻（文字，圖表或者圖片），然后回答2-5題，例如：

Part B. 簡答題3道， 占比20%，40分鐘， 兩道知識點范圍1754～1980年，一道二選一，考生需要閱讀歷史文獻（文字，圖表或者圖片）回答對應的問題，不需要考生詳細論證支持一個論點，例如：

【第二部分】

Part A. 文獻分析題1道，占比25%，60分鐘，知識點范圍1754～1980年。這部分需要考生閱讀需要閱讀并分析九篇歷史文獻（文字，圖表或者圖片）；

Part B. 獨立寫作題1道，占比15%，40分鐘， 題目三選一，范圍分別為1491～1800年，1800～1898年，1890～2018，需要有歷史事件為依據，多角度分析。

總共三個小時十五分鐘的考試，有兩個技能是被強調的：1.閱讀歷史文獻；2.分析歷史文獻。

考過SAT的同學會不會覺得很眼熟？是的！和SAT閱讀中的歷史文獻閱讀，以及寫作中的分析歷史文獻是一樣一樣的！

· 我該怎么備考呢？

重點來了，既然這么難這么重要這么有價值，我們該怎么備考呢？簡單的說，投入很重要，時間上需要充足的準備。

特別是如果我們還沒全面學習過美國史（或者上了課，但沒怎么重視且走心的學習），那么Domino建議至少需要三個月的時間去準備。

一個半月時間熟悉教材內容，看一遍 Ameican Pageant? (這本書有一千多頁，很厚，也很詳盡)，或者看三遍 Direct Hits US History in a Flash （不到四百頁，主要事件和時期的高度概括，更貼近考點）, 能清晰整理出九個美國歷史時期的時間脈絡和重要事件。

一個半月刷真題和寫分析性文章。

所以今年五月份的考試，這個寒假就開始準備是很有比較的哦。
