Message from Primary

It has been great to see our students return from Golden Week having taken the opportunity to spend quality time with families and having had experiences that have been fascinating to hear about. This time of year is perfect for exploring both China and beyond and the students have returned ready to learn and have a successful remainder of Term 1. Academic Review Evenings have happened this week at a perfect time to ensure that teachers and parents can discuss about how to support the children to make the best progress possible. My role at the evenings was to support the teachers but to also talk to parents, and I was reminded that we have such a positive, supportive community. One of the parents I spoke to this week called it a climate of trust, where everyone involved has the best interests of the children at the heart of everything we do – I thought this described it perfectly.
