當地賽 (Local Fair)

由你所在的學?；驅W區組織。如果你所在的學校或學區不組織當地賽，那么你很有可能可以直接參加下一輪的地區賽。具體情況需要詢問你的學校老師。

Local fairs are organized by your school or school district. If you school or school district does not have a local fair, you can probably directly participate in the next round, the regional fair. Please consult relevant teachers or administrators at your school for detail.

地區賽 (Regional Fair)

大多數州會設置若干個地區賽，每個地區包含一個或多個郡。參賽作品通過地區賽的選拔進入州賽。

Most states have multiple regional fairs. Each regional fair covers one or several counties (or similar geographical units). Top entries will advance to the next round, the state fair.

州賽 (State Fair)

州賽是每個州的決賽。參賽作品通過州賽的選拔進入國際賽，也就是英特爾國際科學與工程大獎賽 (ISEF)。

The state fair is the final round within the state. Top entries will advance to the international round, the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF).
