Lisa LoPresti-Hupp：有著30年教學(xué)經(jīng)驗(yàn)的資深教師，教授過從幼兒園到高中的各個(gè)年級以及從北極圈的愛斯基摩村落到剛果的不同地區(qū)的大多數(shù)學(xué)科。為清華附中國際部提供了兩年的教師專業(yè)發(fā)展培訓(xùn)后，她開始教授國際部的戲劇課程。Lisa是一名通過認(rèn)證的部落教育法培訓(xùn)師和差異化教學(xué)培訓(xùn)師。她為工作過的學(xué)校推出了一系列的項(xiàng)目，例如部落教育法, 生存技能, 小升初銜接課程，她還在家長夜校等擔(dān)任教學(xué)指導(dǎo)。除了為許多學(xué)校提供教師專業(yè)發(fā)展培訓(xùn)外，她還在各級各類論壇及會議上多次發(fā)表演講。Lisa LoPresti-Hupp, a veteran teacher of 30 years has taught all levels (Kinder through HS) and most subjects. During her career she has taught in places as diverse as an Eskimo village above the Arctic Circle to the Congo, concentrating her career in Latin America (Colombia and Guatemala). Most recently, after providing professional development for THIS over a two year period, she accepted a full time theatre position for the current school year here at THIS.

Lisa is a certified Tribes Trainer and a certified Differentiated Instruction Trainer. She has introduced several ongoing programs/initiatives at the schools where she has worked such as Tribes, Lifeskills, Metamorphosis (a transition program/curriculum for entering middle school). She has also led Parent Nights and worked as an instructional coach.

Along with providing professional development at many schools, she has presented several times at The Forum on Teaching and Learning at Colegio Bolivar in Cali, Colombia, The Hawaii Association of Middle Schools in Honolulu, Hawaii, the AISA Conference in Nairobi, Kenya and more.

2Deborah Lynn Kapraun

Deborah Lynn Kapraun：有著16年教學(xué)經(jīng)驗(yàn)的教師。教過5-6年級的所有課程，以及7-12年級的英語語言藝術(shù)、社會科學(xué)/歷史、演講和戲劇課程。她曾在美國任教。在北京，她已經(jīng)生活和教學(xué)了14年，其中有8年多是在清華附中國際部。Deborah是一名通過認(rèn)證的部落教育法培訓(xùn)師，一直與清華附中國際部的老師們一起研究如何在課堂上使用部落教育法。她與Lisa LoPresti-Hupp合作，為老師們提供了各種各樣的專業(yè)培訓(xùn)。還參加了關(guān)于課堂管理和跨課程規(guī)劃的專業(yè)發(fā)展研討會。Deborah Lynn Kapraun, a teacher of 16 years has taught grades 5-6 all subjects; and grades 7-12 English Language Arts, Social Sciences/History, Speech and Drama classes during her tenure. She taught in the US for a couple of years before moving to Beijing where she has lived and taught for the last 14 years; 8 1/2 of those at THIS. Teaching is a second career for Deborah, as she started out working in Corporate America mostly working in various aspects of management and corporate training.Deborah is a certified Tribes Trainer and has been working with the THIS Middle School teachers on how to use Tribes in the classroom. She has worked with Lisa LoPresti-Hupp providing various trainings to teachers throughout the course of this year at THIS. Previously, Deborah provided professional development seminars on Classroom Management and Cross Curricular Planning over her career. As a Corporate Trainer, Deborah often spoke at workshops on how best to train and retain employees throughout the Midwest area of the US.
