“中國日”不僅僅是清華附中國際部一年一度的一抹中國紅，一場新春的喜樂慶典，更是一次深度的中國文學之旅，一方屬于學生和中國經(jīng)典的舞臺，一顆扎根在學生心底的中國文化的種子。2019年是清華附中國際部成立的第十年。這座泛著金光的磚紅色的小樓，是每一個曾穿梭其間的學生青春記憶的收納盒，是“一路有書”的一座里程碑，是“十年有你”溫暖相伴的港灣。1月23日，全體老師、同學和家長共同迎來了“一路有書，十年有你”——2019年中國日主題文化活動。
"China day" is an annual traditional activity held by THIS. It aims to let students feel the charm of Chinese culture through a variety of activities related to Chinese culture and history before the Spring Festival. It is also a review of the achievements of Chinese courses in the past year. THIShas been fostering creative critical thinkers who are rooted in China and prepared to lead in the global community.China Day is yet more proof that this is true. With the Chinese Spring Festival dawning upon us, here comesthe 2019 China Day-Ten Years of Books Together with You.
中學部 Secondary School
中學部的活動主要分為兩部分，上午的“書旅驛站”共有六個融合了學術性、參與性、創(chuàng)作性、競答性、娛樂性的文化活動，下午的“時光回響”則是為學生提供的中文學習與名著閱讀成果展示的舞臺。The activities of the Secondary School Division are mainly divided into two parts. In the morning, the“Station Rotation”consists of six different stations with different activities. It is based on the famous book Reading Exhibition and Activity Experience. The“Echoes of Time”in the afternoon is a literary performance based on the contents of famous works.清華附中國際部的全體中文老師為中國日活動傾力付出，希望能夠?qū)⒏黝惢顒釉O計得五彩紛呈不失趣味性，同時也能更好地讓學生在快樂中重溫課堂里、書籍中那方塊字文化的韻律、美感與記憶。
All the Chinese teachers in THIS have devoted a lot of energy to the China day activities. They hoped that the activities would be colorful and interesting, so that students can better perceive the unique charm of Chinese culture in the process of games. Indeed, they were.
詩詞擂臺Poem Contest
“詩詞擂臺”驛站，既有詩詞填空、詩詞接句這些初階的闖關題型，又有妙趣橫生的詩詞九宮格、看沙畫猜詩句的高階闖關形式，而這些詩句都是各年級對本學期學過的詩詞進行的回顧。
This station reviews the poems learned in this semester by asking students of all grades to fill in the blanks of missing lines in poems. Students worked in groups, added sentences to poems, and played with the nine grids of poems.
成語爭霸Idiom Championship
在“成語爭霸”驛站，學生們根據(jù)各個年級相應的成語題庫，通過你來比劃我來猜的方式接力競猜，場面十分熱鬧，笑聲不斷。
In this station,students played interesting games to guess the right idioms. Everyone seemed to really enjoy this station.
小詩大雅Poetic Bookmark Creation
在“小詩大雅”驛站，讓學生們施展自己的創(chuàng)作和藝術才能，在定制書簽上面寫微型詩、繪畫，做成屬于自己的專屬書簽，這獨一無二的書簽包含了同學們的才華與熱情，是中國日最有意義的紀念品。
At this station, students with creative talents showed their talents. Students wrote miniature poems and did paintings on the customized bookmarks to keep for themselves. This unique bookmark contains the talent and enthusiasm of students and is the most meaningful souvenir of China day.
歷史達人Chinese History Competition
在“歷史達人”驛站，中國歷史老師們提前設計好了關于中國歷史文化的問題，采取小組競答的方式讓同學們更好地參與其間，又一次重溫了中國悠久的歷史。
At this station, Chinese history teachers designed questions about Chinese history in advance, and used a group competition to let students better participate.
閱讀時光Reading Presentation
在“閱讀時光”驛站，學生們欣賞了各個年級學生在《西游記》、《朝花夕拾》、《蘇東坡傳》、《三國演義》、《水滸傳》和《圍城》等作品等名著閱讀后的感想，聆聽了他們的讀書匯報，也觀看了經(jīng)典篇目的朗讀視頻。
In this station, students appreciated the reading of Chinese classics by classmates as well as watching a video depicting parts of various classics.
回力年代Traditional Games
“回力年代”是一個有著多種多樣中國傳統(tǒng)小游戲的驛站，包括踢毽子、套圈、滾鐵環(huán)、拍畫片、嘎拉哈等小游戲。對于參加完各種腦力活動的同學們，這是一劑極好的調(diào)節(jié)劑。
This station took place in our gym with a variety of traditional Chinese games, including shuttle cock kicking, iron rolling and so on. This is an excellent conditioner for students who had participated in various mental activities.
小學部 Primary School
踏入清華附中國際部的教學樓，歡聲笑語就不絕于耳。小學部的同學們也歡欣雀躍地投入到豐富多彩的活動之中。小朋友們熱情的笑容和認真的神情流露著對中國文化的熱愛。他們時刻準備著，做聯(lián)結(jié)中國文化和世界文化的橋梁。
Walking around the sprawling primary hallway buzzing with much activity, it was a sight to be hold to see the enthusiasm our students possessed about traditional Chinese culture, truly creating a bridge betweenChina and the world, while celebrating the upcoming Spring Festival.
小學部上午的活動包括猜燈謎、玩投壺、吃湯圓、畫扇子、做紅包和春節(jié)知識搶答賽。之后，則到學校大禮堂觀看了精彩的演出。
Morningactivities includedLantern Riddle Guessing,Touhu——pot pitching, eatingsweet dumplings,red envelope making,traditional Chinese fan designingandSpring Festival Knowledge Contest.After that, they enjoyed a wonderful show at the auditorium.
時光回響The Echoes of Time
在下午的“時光回響”的表演秀中，大家一起欣賞了各年級名著故事的趣味演繹，并跟隨表演走進了名著中豐富多彩的世界，一起探索書中世界與現(xiàn)實世界的聯(lián)系。
In the afternoon, students presented wonderful performances, reliving the classic Chinese literature stories.
▼時光回響開場舞-The Opening Dance
六年級是根據(jù)《青銅葵花》改編的舞蹈劇，講述了麥地上青銅與葵花之間單純的愛與溫暖。
The sixth graders' performance was a dance/ drama based on the story Bronze and Sunflower, which tells the simple love and warmth between Bronze and Sunflower on a wheat field.
七年級是學生在讀完《朝花夕拾》后，把魯迅的童年時光改編進我們熟悉的歌曲《童年》、《稻香》、《way back home》。
The seventh grade students adapted the childhood of Lu Xun into our familiar songs "Childhood", "Rice incense", "Way back home".
八年級選出了反映蘇軾一生軌跡的9首經(jīng)典詩詞進行唱誦。
The Eighth Graders chose nine classic poems that reflected the trajectory of Su Shi's life.
九年級是學生改編的《蒹葭》版的《涼涼》，配以古箏、古琴和舞蹈進行朗讀與演唱。
The ninth grade's performance was a version of the "Reed" version of the song "Cool”, with Guzheng and Guqin.
十年級是學生自編自演的視頻話劇《大話三國之校園英雄》。
The 10th graders' performance was a video play "the campus hero of the Three Kingdoms" which was written and performed by the students themselves.
十一年級是一場別開生面的《梁山競選》辯論秀。
The 11th graders' performance was a unique "Liangshan election" debate show.
八、九、十、十一年級B班的傾情表演的歌曲串燒和舞臺劇。

It's like a book, small, but keeping us company, giving us warmth and strength.
